Today for breakfast
I had rice, beans, bread, and cheese. Having rice and beans for the past couple
days is fine by me. All the meals have been delicious so far. After breakfast
Amy, the other leader of the day, split our group into two separate groups. The
“1’s” were the group to go to the river first to do a water study of the Piro
River and the “2’s” were the group who got to do a team activity, which
consisted of making a contraption that will protect an egg from a certain height
when dropped. After going to the river and testing the water, we had an hour of
downtime….then came lunch and then we built a structure that protected the egg for
a small drop. After our eggs got semi smashed, we jumped rope until it got dark
and went to dinner. While the food was settling in to our bellies, we wrote in
our journal about what our life story was. ANCHOR was the last activity of the
day that is a summary of what everyone thought of the day into one group
discussion. After a long day of fun activities everyone goes to sleep at 9:00pm.
Hi Family……. its fun here, love you, and can you get puffy Cheeto’s when I get back? Thanks. Happy late/early birthday Hayley.
